What is Hydrality™?
Making Hydrogen a Reality
Hydrality™ stores and delivers hydrogen on demand using readily available materials — magnesium and water. These materials are environmentally friendly, non-pollutant and do not contain combustive or toxic elements. When used in conjunction with existing fuel cell technology, Hydrality emits only pure water and produces no waste, as used magnesium from the reaction can be recycled for reuse.
With the potential to safely and efficiently store and deliver large quantities of hydrogen, Hydrality has applications in transportation, utilities, and remote and back up power systems. Hydrality is ideally suited for utility applications because the technology can store off-peak energy from renewable sources, such as wind and solar, for use during peak demand periods. Allowing for superior storage and generation of hydrogen, Hydrality could well offer solutions to the current disadvantages of compressed or liquefied hydrogen that could make hydrogen a reality.
